The future of cyber-security management

Skillnet Ireland is proud to collaborate with the Digital4Security consortium that will equip European SMEs and Companies across multiple sectors with the cybersecurity management, regulatory and technical skills they need to prevent and respond to existing and emerging cybersecurity threats. 

Launched in October 2023, Digital4Security is a €19.92 million EU-funded project awarded under the Digital Europe Programme. The project will support the acceleration of digital transformation in Europe, helping to safeguard European industries from cyber-attacks, protecting our economic prosperity, and supporting long-term competitiveness. 

The Digital4Security project includes 37 partners from 15 EU countries, bringing together thought leaders from industry and academia, and cutting-edge research innovation centres in the area of cybersecurity. 

About Digital4Security

The Digital4Security Masters will be of relevance to European Companies from multiple sectors and industries. It will be tailored to meet the needs of businesses of different sizes from SMEs to larger corporates. It will appeal to companies within many high-priority sectors with a specific focus on businesses involved in Smart Technologies and Systems and/or who manage Information of very high value to cyber criminals. The project will adopt a flexible & tailored approach to the programme design and delivery to cover any industry as needed. This will include fully accredited Masters courses, while also developing a portfolio of complementary short courses and individual modules tailored for specific industries. 

Our contribution

Skillnet Ireland will support several strategic developments throughout the project which include skills needs analysis, curriculum development, and employability strategies through partnership with industry stakeholders. Skillnet Ireland will also lead efforts to deliver short course training designed to support SMEs and larger companies in addressing their cyber-security skills needs.
