Improving staff retention by upskilling with Restaurant & Hospitality Skillnet

Improving staff retention by upskilling with Restaurant & Hospitality Skillnet

Before collaborating with the Restaurant and Hospitality Skillnet, the upskilling undertaken by restaurant staff at Salamanca and Mexico to Rome was practical in nature, however, it lacked valuable business management and customer care training. Most training was internal, using in-house manuals with senior staff members training new staff from their own experience.

The Restaurant and Hospitality Skillnet provided access to tailored Restaurant Management and Customer Care Training programmes which improved the overall productivity of the business.

The bespoke training and development programmes helped the business to retain their high-performing, experienced staff and improve workplace culture. This enabled the senior team to focus on managing the whole business more efficiently, allowing them to develop their long-term business strategy and delegate the daily business operations to other team members.
