The network’s mission is to grow the local tech sector, by helping member businesses to develop and expand through the provision of subsidised upskilling programmes, with a core focus on technology, innovation and competitiveness.
Collaborating with industry, the network designs, develops and delivers responsive, bespoke and flexible training courses to address the ongoing needs of businesses. Tech Northwest Skillnet is promoted by Letterkenny Institute of Technology. Membership is open to private businesses in the region. Training is mainly delivered in Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim.
Tech Northwest Skillnet has provided us with exceptional support and training in recent years, which has enabled us to remain competitive in a shifting Technology sector. Our employees have availed of fantastic opportunities to up-skill as a result of this valuable partnership with the Network, specifically in the area of specialist vendor education.
